cell renum

Default cell renum

Hi, how can you renumber the cells in your mesh from 0-n. I have seen that you can actually re-number your cells with 'restruct,,,,,,,renum' but it does not begin from cell 1. It begins from the last cell number leaving a whole bunch of cell numbers that dont mean anything. I appreciate any help on this, with regards, CM

Try ccom or Tools->Cell Tool->Cell Compress.

This is something you ahould get used to doing always before saving and running your cases.

Why? In order to save memory, STAR compresses the cell and boundary numbers for you.
