PMOVLINK and STARLINK

Respected experts,

I am using STAR-CD 3.15 for Windows and Absoft Pro Fortran 8. I have tried to do some tutorials involving user subroutine and moving mesh. But I cannot find pmovlink and starlink script which are clearly stated in the tutorials. Could anyone help me in this regard?

Regards.

Re: PMOVLINK and STARLINK

You don't execute pmovlink in windows.

In the launcher click:

Solve --> Star

on the first tab check the moving mesh box

On the solve tab, click Start to run the analysis.

Re: PMOVLINK and STARLINK

Many thanks Mr Leo

I tried as suggested by you but another problem appears.

While doing the transient tutorial given in MixPert tutorial 2, I am getting the following error message when I tried to link from the launcher (as ProStar cannot compile moving mesh problem inside in it):

***GEOMETRICAL CALCULATIONS STARTED

***GEOMETRICAL CALCULATIONS COMPLETED

? FORTRAN runtime Error:

? Attempt to read past end of file ? READ(UNIT=9,...

Please help me to get it solved. I am using STAR-CD 3.150A for Windows 2000 with Absoft Pro Fortran 8.

Thanks and regards

Re: PMOVLINK and STARLINK

It looks like the problem is set for a restart and no .pst file has been found. To check (and turn off) in the star-guide:

analysis preparation and running --> analysis re-start

change it to standard restart and click apply.
