I should have realised it was nothing more than an image makeover!

There were a couple of laughs on the announcement Web page though;

1) "we aim to communicate the fact that the partner companies adapco and CD (Computational Dynamics Ltd are one company." How can two companies be one? Maybe it should have read: "The two former partner companies are now one." Or maybe it's business as usual: two distinct companies pretending to be one coherent entity.

2) The banner that appears on the browser's window border. It mentions "BMW ORACLE Racing</span>" for some obscure reason. Maybe the logo change was sponsored by BMW?

A new version of ccm+ (1.04.002) is also available since last week.

Seems to me like a really accurate simulation of a Damp Squib.

Wow, a small clock gets you *this* excited, obviously you are exactly the type of sucker all this marketing hype is aimed at...

So finally a very successful and profitable British company is absorbed by another much less successful American company. End of story.
