Compiling Error in prostar

Hi,

I'm trying to use prostar to do a simulation. It's the first time with prostar and I don't have so much time so I run proam, I generated a trimmed mesh and then I followed Star-GUIDE to fill the other infos. At the end, I tryed to run the solver, but I got this message:

---------------------------

close,volume2_3_f.drp FILE volume2_3_f.drp CANNOT BE CLOSED OR NOT OPEN

Linking double precision sequential executable "star-volume2_3_f.exe"...

starin.f compile error.

Exiting starlink.

Does anybody know which is the reason? I'm working in Linux with a GNU fortran compiler.

Is it a problem related to my model or to the compiler (for example I have to set some particular variable or ?) ?

Thank you in advance,

Erika

try using only prostar pre and post and simulate for less number of iter jus to see if it works.

Re: Compiling Error in prostar

It does't begin to simulate! It cannot compile!

GNU Fortran is not supported under Linux. You must use Absoft. It's all explained in the installation notes.

Re: Compiling Error in prostar

You need to use Absoft Fortran to compile

Re: Compiling Error in prostar

You have to install the correct version of Absoft. STARCD V3.22 supports Absoftv8.2.
