Hi all,

I am running a transient analysis, with VOF option. The runs are done incrementally - each run stops at every 1 sec, for 10 times (10 secs total time). Hence, I have 10 .pstt files, with each is inside the 'RESULTS.000', 'RESULTS.001',... folder. How can I combine the results in all 10 files? My goal is to produce a loop, similar to what is shown in tutorial 15. Thanks and have a nice day!

Have a look in your Star-CD installation. you will find something called mergepstt in STAR/3.24.000(or whatever your version is)/linux...(for example)/bin. Just start it from your working directory and you will merge your results.

You can stick .pstt/.rpo etc. files together (or pull them apart if you want) using the readpst programme. It's in $STAR/bin/readpst in V3.2 onwards.

For example, if you wanted to add a.pstt and b.pstt and put them in a file call c.pstt, you do the following: $STAR/bin/readpst -add a.pstt b.pstt -o c.pstt
