engineering data & analysis (Re)Start

Hi

Do you know if it is possible to restart your jobs and do not alter anything on your .ecd or .erd files?

I don't know if I understand you right. You can alter the <casename>.mdl file in ProStar. In this session you can switch off your boundary and cell monitoring. So the new star model would ignore the *.erd and *.ecd files.

I don't know if in the newer star versions (v3.20, v3.22, v3.24) just only "star -restart" would be ok for a restart, or that you have to alter the *.mdl for a restart. Sorry, I start now with the new star version (v3.24).
