Help with .igs files

Hi there i work with .igs files, but they are send to me (just do the CFD analysis).

The problem is i have two geometry in .igs and i want to introduce geometry 2 in geometry 1, but geometry 2 is not on the correct position. Can i modify the position of geometry 2 in Prostar?, i've read the manuals but they don't mention this (or overlooked it).

Can any one suggest something?

Thanks

You can move things around in Prostar using the command vgen. Have a look in the commands manual for details.

vtran is another useful command

what about rotating?

Re: Help with .igs files

Again, vgen would be my choice. You need a cylindrical local coordinate system for the rotation.
