Pressure initialization Failure.

Hi there,

Well i'm running a compressible flow. I;v been lowering my under relaxation factor for pressure, and this warning keeps coming up.

Warning #072, Pressure initialization failure, pressure will be scaled.

I thought it had to do with the under-relaxtion factor, but when i modify it , this warning keeps appering.

Somebody knows how to fix it or if i can just ignore it? The problem does converge.

Thanks

Re: Pressure initialization Failure.

You can just ignore it. Obviously, the pressure field was not initialized correctly. Maybe you should have used manual initialization instead of code initialization...

Re: Pressure initialization Failure.

This problem should not bother you as this only appears at the zeroth iteration when STAR-CD tries to initialise the flow field by solving potential equation. It does not afftect your result and indeed in certain situation, you are better off to turn off code initialisation.
