applying post data as b.c on some other model

can anybody know how to give the temperature on the walls(results) from one model as boundary condition on some other model(of similar geometry).

first of all is this a possible case or not?

thanksalot

It is possible but requires some work (macros...). You should ask the support for help.

This might be a good topic for Dr. Mesh or adapco-online once it is back again.

its sounds very interesting what would be the reason for doing this?

are your wall boundaries normally fixed temperature ? so that the temperature does'nt vary over the surface?

mind you I have seen some models results with temperature varying over the surface, i believe this is where the user has not setup fixed surface temperature boundaries in their model and it may not be correct or accurate

any others got views on this?
