Problem to start pro-Star.
 

Hello friends.

I'm a new user for Star-CD and have some problem to start it.It's shown that "Error attempting to open X display". What happen in this error? and How I can overcome this problem?.

Hai

Before opening star-CD,EXCEED or SCOVISION must be active.In your case that is not done.

X-vision should be installed with STAR-CD read the installation notes as to how to set it up correctly.

i can't solve it,now. i think it may be a problem about x-vision. Now i use ANSYS-CFX,it's CFD code like STAR-CD. Should try to use it ,if you can't solve the problem.

Try disabling your antivirus, it worked for me. Hope it works for you guys as well.
