Dear star-cd users,

As apart of our project to design LowSpeed Wind Turbine which is AICTE sponsored,we would like check our results with star-cd.Would any one can send the procedure to be followed to simulate a wind turbine rotating ina wind.

Althoughh I have not simulated turbine, but I fabricated two Savonius Wind turbie (1)Five bladed with nozzle shaped slotted hollow cylinder- which has cut-in speed about 2.1 m/s, tht is about 1 meter cube machine (2)a simple 3 bladed S-type , comparison of both have been presented in ICORE-5 organised by IIT, Mimbai. hai, my name is Saraiah . iam doing M.Tech in IIT Guwahati. Iam doing project on the savonius wind turbine. In the first phase i have designed and fabricated double stage savonius wind turbine. in the second phase i have to do the simulation. if any body did this simulation plz send the procedure u followed.
