what about monitoring cell in prostar
 

hi experts what is the influence of selecting the monitering cell in prostar. i mean if a select a cell near the inlet region(flow will not affect by any obtruction) and again i selct a monitoring cell in a critical region(like flow reversal, sudden heat transfr, obstuction etc). this two different kind of selections how will affect my solution(convergence criteria). thanks in advance

The monitoring cell has no influence on the solution. Its just a cell where the solution in that cell is monitored for the life of the run.
