When running in parallel I got an error message stating that starccm could not synchronize nodes. The machine I am running on is running Suse linux with 4 AMD opteron 64 bit processors with shared memory. I have ran smaller files in parallel in the past and had no problems. The larger file which I got that error message with saves fine sometimes and gives the error message at other times. Since all the procssors are on the same board I would not think it should have any problems synchronizing.

I ran the same file on a dual processor red hat linux work station with no problems. This workstation was running two xeon 64 bit processors.

I plan on upgrading to the latest version of the software, but has anyone seen this problem before?

We are currently using 2.04.004, I'm having 2.04.008 installed, but I do not have admin access, so I have to wait for it to be updated.
