Turbulence Intensity and Length

Hi All,

May I know what is the criteria or assumption I have to follow for Inlet and Pressure boundary's Turbulence Intensity and Length? I know T.I is in percentage term but how do I decide the value? Does it varied from model to model? Thank you in advance!

There is a bit written about this in CFD-Wiki. You can find it here:

Question: How to specify the inflow turbulence? Answer: The turbulent kinetic energy can be estimated as follows , where x is the velocity pulsation amplitude relative to the mean flow velocity V; The rate of the turbulent energy dissipation is estimated from , where μ is the dynamic molecular viscosity, N = 100 is a parameter.
