Default diesel spray combustion equivalence ratio

Hello guys, Could you please suggest how to obtain equivalence ratio for diesel spray and combustion. Diesel fuel is sprayed into constant volume chamber with 900K temperature and high pressure air. I am calculating transient. Equivalence ratio is stoichiometric air-fuel ratio devided by actual air-fuel ratio. How to get equivalence ratio value over time. As I know it is possible to insert a formula and link it to scalars, then I just insert the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio value and actual air-fuel ratio, but how to define air for actual air-fuel ratio, because if I link it to scalars, in the output the program only gives oxygen and nitrogen, but how to define air?

Thanks a lot

Hi, I don't remember very well but if I'm right you've got scalars O2 and N2 defined in terms of mass [g or kg]...so if you want do define the air for your formula you need to express air in term of mass concentration of O2 and N2...is it right? Then it's just something like m_air=0.23*m_O2+0.77*m_N2
