Banal question concerning use of registers

Hi all. I made some simulations over a wing profile. I'd like to create the classical graph showing the Cp (pressure coefficient) on the y-axis and the cord percentage x/c on the x-axis. (check this link to get what i'm trying to tell you using my awful english:http://www.cfd.tu-berlin.de/research...port/img13.png) I esaily got out a register with the values of pressure in the cells lying on the profile, but my matter is: how can i get a register with the x-coordinates of the profile?
Thanks a lot everyone would like to help. Bye. |

You can use
OPERATE GETC X 4 to get the data into a post register (you can do this in any co-ordinate system). and then use the same method you used for the pressure. In general the star graphing is somewhat painful. It is generally easier to use *get and gparam in a prostar loop (*define,*end,*loop) to create columns of data, then use sdata to make a text file which you can then read into something like excel. |
