Default linearising sources

Hi, If the sources in your simulation, done with star-ccm, are non-linear, e.g. inlet profile, does one have to linearise the source before adding it as a boundary condition or does the code do the linearisation?

I am just wondering because my solution converged just as fast when I didn't linearise my velocity profile. Other codes such as Phoenics require source linearisation.

Thanks for your insight
