CCM+ Parasolid import
... seems to be not very good. I have often problem with this format. IGS works better but the name of the part are not transverted.
step seems to be good either. Maybe higher tesselation solves the problem. Regards Peter |

We have the same issue with parasolid written from SolidWorks. Parasolid 15 through to 18 inclusive gives exported from SolidWorks and imported into CCM+ gives at best a poor surface representation or worse still errors that are extremely difficult to fix with the current CCM+ tools. We currently export with parasolid 14.1 in SolidWorks, which normally gives a correct surface representation in CCM+. Sometimes we use IGES but only if we have to. Regards Peter |
