Default Eulerian-Eulerian in STAR-CD

Hi guys,

I want to try Star-CD but I hope I can have some inputs first. I just want to ask what are the options for the wall boundary conditions in Star CD's Eulerian-Eulerian model other than no-slip/slip. Is there an option there which allows the droplet to move out of the wall or stick to the wall? I know that these conditions are common in Eulerian-Lagrangian but we are trying to solve it using Eu-Eu. Our problem is inhomogeneous which makes the VOF model not suitable. Also, I read somewhere that Star CCM+ only supports VOF model for Eulerian multiphase. Does Star CD also uses VOF model only? Thanks for the help guys!

Star-CD does have Eulerian two-phase model (starting from v3.24, however for the problems I've tried it was working good only from v4.x), but there are no special options for droplet-wall interaction.

STAR-CCM+ only has VOF and Lagrangian for multiphase. STAR-CD has VOF, Lagrangian and Eulerian.

in my experience, even in the case shown in tutourial(aeration tank), it is hard to converge. and in the tut example is a little cheating. it's volume fracture=0.5, doesnt consistent with the real case.it should be 1.0, however, since it's too difficult to converge, use an fake and easy number to users.
