EXTENDED DATA PANEL STARCD

Hi, I have a problem compiling user subrutines in the ufile directory. I think it must be done in extended data panel, but I am not sure. Between words BEGIN and END in this panel I should put the names of the subroutines?? or this extended data panel is only used for special STARCD modules like ERC? Thanks for your help!. Maria

Hi
User subroutines doesn't need to be named in the extended data section of the .prob file (here is written the extended data from the extended data panel). What kind of compiling problem you get? It's a problem about the compiler itself or a problem involving your user code (such as variables, ...). In short...what write down star when you try to run a sim?
Bye

Hi, this is the error:

Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-fini.c: 195: _dl_fini: Assertion `ns != 0 || i == nloaded' failed!

It seems a compilation problem, but I donīt know if it is a STARCD problem or SUSE-linux problem. What do you think? Thanks! Maria

Hi, it's sound strange, I really don't know what it is...sorry!
But I suggest you to look out for a Suse problem, because if it is a compilation problem then Star gives you information in the .run file about the line where it finds the problem...and if the compilator works correctly you should be able to launch star with the ufile dir and the standard subroutine without any changes to them. Try to launch a star sim without changing the subroutines...if it works maybe you have a Star Problem, if it doesn't maybe you have a problm with suse or the compilator...
Hope that help! Regards
