Dear All,

I am simulating a vessel being filled up via an inlet at the bottom and exiting at the top. I want to simulate the tank overflowing so have just set the top of the vessel as a flow-split outlet. I am simulating gravity and so have the top of the vessel as the reference point. The flow is turbulent and so I am getting reverse flwo messages at the outlet. To bypass this I have used a mesh extruder to extend the outlet. This has got rid of the reverse flows.
I am wanting to know how much affect this extended geometry has on the rest of the system, as it is extended vertically and so will be affected by gravity.
