Problem with plotting on a curve length

Hello,

I'm currently working on the modelisation of a 180 degree bend pipe in 2D. I would like to plot the pressure coefficient along the inner and outer wall of my pipe. I created a named selction for the "wall in" and "wall out".
In Fluent i chose Results->Plots->XY Plot->Set Up and then i tried to plot on the Y axis the Pressure Coefficient and on the X axis the Curved Length. As i selected the "Wall in" as surface to plot Pressure Coefficient, an error message appear. It does the same thing for all surfaces available.

I put a screenshot for you to see better

Does anyone had the same problem and resolved it ?

Another question : Does anyone of you know how to plot along a curved length on CFD-Post ?

Thank you for your answers

Hi,

Please email me at ml02534@georgiasouthern.edu with you details and I will be glad to take a look

thank you for your proposal but we found a solution. we did it on excel computing the curve length with the exported data in function of x and y.

thank you

Exactly. I had a similar problem when modeling external flow over a cylinder to compute far field sound..

What is the reason you are simulating this? Just basic pipe flow and pressure losses?
