vcvedant is an unknown quantity at this point
I want to see the effect of free-stream turbulence on skin friction coefficient. For this I want to use Launder-Sharma low Reynolds turbulence model in OpenFOAM v-2.3.x or 2.2.2. The test case is zero-gradient flow over a flat plate. Inlet turbulent conditions for turbulent intensity, Tu = 1%, 6.53% and 25.7%, thus total of 3 cases. Inlet velocity will be 30 m/s for first two cases and 6 m/s for the last case.
The final result should plotted for skin friction vs Momentum thickness based Reynolds number. The results should compare with previous study done in the http://turbomachinery.asmedigitalcol...icleid=1672759literature.
