Hi there,
I have sketched a 2D geometry in Solidworks and have saved it both as a .SLDPRT file and a .STEP file. When I import both into Ansys Fluent on Workbench (2020 R2), both imports come up with the error "Plugin error no valid bodies found" when I generate the geometry in DesignModeller. How do I overcome this problem? Thanks |

I have worked it out. I had to go to Insert > Surface > Planar within the sketch. It now imports perfectly in Ansys Fluent as a .SLDPRT file or a .STEP file.
