CFD smoke control systems
 

Hello,
I need help with my diploma thesis. I'm doing a simulation (in FDS) of smoke system controls in staircase. I need to calculate light transmittance (absorption) in one point on the top of staircase. I don't know, how to define a device to calculate this. Which parametr i need to choose? At the end of the simulation, I need to show the results as a percentage. The result in FDS will probably be in 1 / m, how to change this to percentages in excel?
