Hi,
Teach me to use OPENFoam (or RapidCFD), Elmer, and Salome on a Windows machine to utilize the EOF MHD interface as posted on GitHub by J Vencels (or the fork using RapidCFD). I simulated a levitation melting process in 2D, but now need to fix asymmetries in 3 dimensions that led to spillage. I bought an expensive computing rig but then realized my moving mesh will never scale to 3D. The fix is to utilize VOF/FVM for the fluid solver, and FEM for the magnetics solver. J Vencels created code to have the FEM solver and VOF/FVM solver talk in real time while solving. This will allow me to 30x my simulation speeds and this is for a commercial application, so I am willing to pay you to teach me!!! |
