how we can calculate the time step and total time for tidal turbine?what do you mean by turbine rotates 1 degree or 2 degree during each time step?is there any formula for time step and total time?

i have read some of journal about the gasification process, some of them make geometry with 4 wall, wall for drying, pyrolysis and etc..
how we can make the boundary about gasification proses in a geometry?
hopefull for a help..
