Hello,
I'm trying to simulate defogging on simple cabinet model like windshield aplication.
In CFX, is it possible to define a certain thickness of uniformly distributed water condensate film on a wall as an initial condition? I would like to see the effect of defroster nozzle geometry on condansate film evaporation.

Continuous phase: gas mixture (air ideal gas and h2o<vapor>)
Version: 12.1

thanks

You might be able to adapt the wall film model (developed for IC engine fuel applications) to this. Otherwise you might be able to use an additional variable. Both of these options are tricky and will require development.

Thank you Glenn,

So, I should try to particle spray over wall to form a film at first, am I wrong?

I have never used this model so cannot tell you how to use it. Hopefully you can set an initial condition but I am not sure.
