Hi all,,
I model the buoyant jet in still atmosphere and at the same time I would like to use K-e model. Therough the reading of some textbook about the using k-e for modeling vertical buoyant jet in stagnent atmosphare, it should be modified the k-e, where its calculations of disspresion is less than kinetic production. so
does any one apply any modefication for k-e to model buoyant jet before to help me?
any input can help.
Best regards

CFX has some turbulence models which include modifications for buoyancy. Have a look in the documentation for them.

Yes, there is PNG K-E; however, it was not good enough to predict the flow feild of buoyant jet.
Thanks in advance for helpful input

No, I am talkign about the SST model. It has specific buoyancy corrections available as options.
