Conjugate heat transfer

Hi Friends
I'm a Ph.D. student majoring in mechanical engineering, working on “Unsteady Conjugate Heat Transfer in reacting flow”.
I faced some questions about CFX. I’d be so thankful if you could help me.
1. Does CFX solve this problem (Unsteady Conjugate Heat Transfer in reacting flow)?
2. Which algorithms does CFX use for conjugate heat transfer?

With Kind Regards

1. Yes, CFX can solve it.
2. The solid domain is directly coupled to the fluid domain. If the flow is laminar then the temperature is coupled across both domains directly, if turbulent wall functions then coupled through the wall functions.

thank you so much
but I nead to slove a reacting flow
for example when we have a combustion in a combustor, there is a intensive temprature gradient
this issue will be caused bad convergency in couple boundary
what is your idea about it?

Yes, that will make convergence more difficult and accuracy a challenge. But CFX has all the models required to make it work, you just need to apply them correctly.
