Dear all,

I set the Residual Target of RMS is 1.0e-4. However, after the certain iterations, it is found only RMS P-Mass gets to 1.0e-5, others e.g. RMS U/V/W etc. only get to 1.0e-3. Could we think this simulation is converging? If not, how can we think it converges for the RMS? And how to make it converge? Since I tried to make the CFD simulation to meet the actual situations many times. But it still cannot meet 1.0e-4 for all the final iterations.

Please give me some advices and solutions for that.

Many thanks in advance!

Yang,

Take a look at the FAQ: http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansys...gence_criteria

The first item is just about this topic.

And to answer your question, it appears that your solution has not converged.

Best regards
