pressure at a point in cfx post
 

Hi,
I need to find pressure at a point in cfx. Any suggestions!
I have created a point and then colored it with variable of pressure, i could get a value, but it difficult to match color. How could I get exact numerical value of pressure at a point?

I found it.
In cfd post under tools>Pobe> specify point by coordinates.

if you do a steady state simulation: better define the point as a monitor point in cfx-pre so you can see that the pressure is getting a constant value in the solving process(or not if the flow is transient :rolleyes:)
