How to merge .res files?

Hello everyone,

My simulation is taking too long to finish, so I'm doing it by parts.

I load the previous .res file as initial conditions to the next part, but when I open the Post I can only open the results as separated files... and it gets all messy to view them.

Like .res file 001 shows from timestep 0 to 10, and .res file 002 shows from 10 to 20... and so on.

Is that a way to merge all .res files in one and see them as a sequence in CFD-Post when I click the Timestep Selector (the clock symbol)?

Thank you

No there is not. But when you record animations you can use a session file to jump over to the new res file so the animations you produce are seamless.

Ok, as I imagined...

Thanks Glenn!
