Mesh size on either sides of an interface

I have a lot of variation in the mesh sizes on either sides of some interfaces in the domain.

Since it is recommended to have similar mesh element sizes on the two sides of an interface I'd like to know if there is any parameter that can indicate the extent of such variation of mesh element sizes on either sides of an interface in CFX and if so what is the permissible range of such parameter.

I'm just looking for a quantification in this aspect if possible.

Could some one please suggest upon this.

I do not think any existing metric captures this. You will have to assess it yourself manually.
