i m working on cfx(ansys13). i have 360 degree experimental velocity data for inlet of a compressor. how to apply this profile at the inlet.how cfx will know which is degree n which is velocity and also from where cfx will count its 0 degree in my geometry.

You can define your own BC profile, see the manual about profile boundary conditions and especially r-theta profiles. If I remember correctly r-theta coordinates in your file are used to calculate X-Y coordinates in CFX default coordinate system. This can of course be changed to any local coordinate system.
