Body in a Fluid

Hello CFX users, I am modeling a reactor in which there is a solid body , a fluid in side this solid and another solid body inside this fluid.
My problem is that the simulation does not seem to be recognizing the body inside the fluid, in the final results I just see the body but no flow is influenced by this body. Please help me.

Hi Vikram,
Your problem is an FSI. Formulate the problem based on that. You need to first select a proper FSI method. I believe are trying to find the behavior of control rods in the reactor fluid. What is it you are trying to achieve? this will affect the FSI method used.

Thank you

Hamed

Thank you very much for the reply.
Actually there is a rotating disc inside the reactor. I figured out a way to deal with it.
I am not very sure of what FSI is, can you send me a reliable link where I can find out more about that?

Thanks in advance,
Vikram

Hi,
There is also a CEL function for time denoted by "t". Recall CEL function for time.
In ANSYS search for article 15.2.12.
Reference:
// Reference Guide // 15. Variables in ANSYS CFX // 15.2. List of Field Variables // 15.2.12. Variables and Predefined Expressions Available in CEL Expressions
