What is Velocity Alpha in CFX post?

What is velocity ALpha and Beta is CFX post?

Is it flow angle and metal angles?

Velocity beta is the factor used in the high Res differencing scheme. Can't remember off the top of my head what alpha is.

Yes, alpha is usually the flow angle, but CFD-Post calls it 'Velocity Flow Angle'. Where are you getting these variables? What version are you working with?

I am working on CFX-14. But it was available in versions 12 & 13 as well.

It appears in CFD post, after Turbo initialization. I found explanation under: "Appendix A: A Note on Sign Convention for Angles and Velocities in Vista TF"

this is definition of alpha and beta, But I am still not sure is it referencing same as plot generating in CFD-post?

Thanks in advance!!!
