Error note in cfx-pre 14.0

Hi, I am tring to solve the problem which soild-fluid coupled transfer, one side is solid with internal heat source, other side is multipahse flow(water and vapor )with RPI WALL BOILING MODEL. When i complishied seting up in CFX-pre. An error occured named "In Analysis 'Flow Analysis 1' - Domain 'secfluid': The wall boiling model is active for fluid pair 'Liquid | vapor' and involves an isothermal phase but a solid domain is also active in the analysis. The solver does not support this."
but in CFX12.0 it did not have this error, and in CFX12 turtuiors it said "It is now possible to perform Euler-Euler multi-phase simulations with CHT domains connected to fluid domains using GGIs, a combination of features that was previously not possible." WHY NOT IN CFX14? |

It seems to be more so complaining about the isothermal phase than the fact that it is multiphase CHT. Version 14.0 should still be able to do this. Try turning on an energy equation for the phase that is currently isothermal if that makes sense for your model.

And i'd be grateful if you can elaborate on my question:
I've been working on a project that requires me to model a shell and tube heat exchanger. I am attempting to draw the pipe (i am not using the shell conduction in the boundary condition) because i want to design the fins. But the solution is becoming inaccurate(net heat flux is tooo big) and taking a looot of time. Any suggestions? Thanks |
