Hi to every one,
In fact I am trying to simulate a FSI problem in Ansys Workbench. For mesh generation of solid and fluid the Workbench uses ICEM software but I want to use CFX mesh generation software, how can I solve this problem ?

sincerely

Hi
do you mean you want to work with workbench?
it has two parts design modeler and cfx mesh. you can do it easily by workbench.

hi workbench and icem-cfd are two independent parts which are located in ANSYS sofware pack. I did not use icem-cfd and just have a friend worked on it. I have used workbench for meshing. it has cfx-mesh.

ANSYS CFX isn't able to remesh a geometry by its own (Fluent does). As was mentioned you can use either ICEM CFD, or ANSYS Meshing. If you want to use ANSYS Meshing for remeshing process definitely take a look at the following tutorial (http://www.edr.no/blogg/ansys_blogge...nch_cfx_remesh).
