Hi every one,

I am trying to simulate a heat exchanger of staggered arrangement via CFX. the problem is that I think the Boundary Conditions is not set probably, furthermore, in the 3D viewer in the result section, it seems that the water temperature (hot) is not decreasing as flowing through the tubes (cold side.)

I am attaching an image of my model to clarify the issue.I would be grateful if you can help me to know whether the BOCO's is right or not.

Any comments will be appreciated.
Thanks so much.

As I can see, you should put symmetry only on those three small faces and face which is perpendicular to axis Z. But not on the large surface which is perp. to axis Y.
