Question about CFX transitional fluid model
 

Hi,

Has anyone tried the CFX transitional fluid model? Does this model work well from your experience?

How reliable could this model be for a different wall geometry(not flat)?

It is quite good, there are many posts about it on the forum. It requires you to know a little about what you are modelling to get it accurate, it is not a model for beginners.

It was developed on airfoil sections and works best on airfoil shapes, but seems to give reasonable results on anything similar-ish.
