Hi all,

I'm trying to simulate the behavior of the abdominal aorta and I need of a inlet function that it changes with the radius like a target for archery or like concentric circles.
The inlet is a circle with the center in the origin of axis [0,0,0] and it is in the XZ plane. Screen.jpg

The inlet function is the velocity and I have the values in a chart.

I created an user function with an three dimensional interpolation (velocity, time, radius and Y value). Funcyion.jpg

After I created an expression called MyRad define of this expression:
sqrt((X Coordinate)^2+(Y Coordinate)^2) Expression.jpg

and a new variable called MYRAD.

After this I set up the new variable in the fluid domain and set up the inlet velocity in inlet boundary. Inlet_setting.jpg

I obtained a profile like in the picture Inlet.jpg

How can I do for obtain the right profile???

Thank you

If you want me to I can delete the post, but it is better if you post a description of what the fix is so if people find it in future they can learn from it.

In the expression I have made a very bad mistake, the inlet is in the plane XZ and the right expression is:

sqrt((X Coordinate)^2+(Z Coordinate)^2)
