I would like to know when can we apply translational periodicity , general connection and rotational periodicity?
What does it mean the interface model? Thank you Regards Shashwat |

Translational periodicity would be when you have the a repeating geometry in a translational direction. Imagine flow over a large number of identical bumps, you wouldn't have to model all the bumps, you would just model one section and when flow goes out one side, it comes back it the other side like a loop. Kind of like old Atari games.
Rotational is the same concept except it rotates not translates. General connection is when there is no periodicity. The documentation has a lot more info and options on this as well. |
