How to measure incidence angle

Dear All,

I have a result file in cfx & i have to calculate incidence angle at Tip LE of a compressor blade. How to calculate it in cfx-post?

Thanks,

Can you post an image to make your question clear?

thanks bulmer
can you tell me how to calculate incidence angle for airfoil or compressor blade numerically then i can try this in cfx.

This is what comes to mind. How about measuring actual values of u, v, w at the tip of the blade etc? You can then get a vector in 3D space. From the trigonometry and orientation of your blade coordinate system with this vector, you can calculate the angle. If you are trying to find on the angle of incidence on the edge, you may want to take average values of u,v, w at that and then figure out the vector.

Not an elegant way but should give you an idea.

i have values of u v w @ LE point ....but this is little difficult process ....
thanks
