I am running ANSYS 14.0 and I am receiving the following:

Error in subroutine GET_VARVX :
OLD : Failure to get data area USER_AV1_FL1
GETVAR originally called by subroutine SU_PERMANENT_DVAR

The solver then quits with an error code 1 and prints the .err file. I have tried increasing the memory allocation factor from 1.0 to 1.2 to 5 with no results.

I am running Windows 7 and have 8 Gb of memory.

Any advice?

The solver is looking for a variable but cannot find it. This looks like an error in your set up. I would set it up again and try again, or try it with different parallel options.

I have defined an expression ThermCond=CH4.mf*CH4.cond. It doesn't work if i assign it as a thermal conductivity for built in methane material property but works when I define my own new material.
Error is
Failure to get data area CONDUCT_MT1_FL1

Somewhat similar error appeared when I try to assign Temperature expression which was dependent on T value. Error statement said that I cannot assign expression which depends on itself (not exact words)
