Named selection for internal face not appearing in CFX-Pre

Hi everyone,

I face a problem of selecting the internal face in CFX-Pre although I have named the internal face in Workbench meshing. I am working on 2D simulation. The geometry that I have is a series of 5 rectangular blocks (one part 5 bodies) which are connected to each other, thus, there is one inlet face, one outlet face and 4 internal faces. Only the inlet and outlet face are appearing in CFX-Pre, but the other 4 internal faces do not appear in CFX-Pre although they are named in Workbench meshing. Could I ask a favor how to ensure the internal face appearing in CFX-Pre?

Any help on this is much appreciated. Thanks.

Cheers
Francis

Under Connectivity in CFXPre, right click and check Show 1-to-1

Hi, I tried it, but the CFX-Pre doesn't allow me to select ''Show 1:1 Connections''. Is there any alternative solution to this?

Thanks.

Cheers
Francis

What do you mean the internal faces don't appear? Are they not seen at all, or they are seen but their names are not as you names in Mesher?

Hi OJ. They are seen in CFX Pre, but the named selection of the internal face from workbench not appear in CFX-Pre. The main reason why I want the internal face appear in CFX-Pre is that I can use it in my CFX-Pre expression, i.e. areaAve(Pressure)@(Specified internal face) for transient simulation. Any help on this is much appreciated.
