plotting velocity profile for inlet boundary

Dear all,

My question is how can i enter 3d velocity profile for inlet boundary for flow 30.907 kg/s through pipe with inside diameter 4".

best regards

You can use an expression or a 3D interpolation function. Also if this profile has axial symmetry then it is really only 2D and much simpler to implement.

best regards

The CFX tutorials show how to do these functions. And more tutorials are available on the ANSYS customer webpage, and yet more again from your ANSYS support person.
