Hi, Everyone

I'm a new user of CFX.
Please, explain me how can I create a Point Source in Porous Domain for my case.

Helium (He) flows in porous domain for Wz=1m\s and T=350K. It's OK.

I should create a source of additional He with G=5e-3 kg/s moving straight to Oz (0,0,1) with T=500K.

In CFX I should enter G[kg\s], T[K], parameters of turbulence (k and e) and components of velosity (Vx, Vy, Vz).

But I know only G and T. How I have to fing out others parameters?

Thanks. Sorry for my English

The velocity is to define an initial velcoity for the stuff "created" in the source point. If it does not have a coherent velocity then just leave this as zero. Likewise the turbulence parameters are the initial condition of the created "stuff". You will need to define a sensible value for this (if you do not know realistic values). You can use 0 for k if you like, but you need to have a finite value for e as zero will cause a singularity.
