CFX tutorial #22 keeps failing

Hi,

I'm trying the CFX version 14.5.2 tutorial #22 (Modeling a Ball Check Valve using Deformation and CFX Rigid Body Solver).

The simulation fails on timestep number 17 with messages about negative element volume. I've checked the step-by-step guide a few times to make sure I've not made any input mistakes, of which I did not find any. It also does not make any difference if it is run in serial or local parallel on a few cores.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I need to run this tutorial to get myself up to speed on this type of simulation as I need to solve something similar but with a linearly decreasing outlet pressure.

export every timestep including the mesh and check where the mesh folds. @the bc or somewhere in the domain? How tight is the mesh displacement residual?
