Hi Guys

After changing my solver-option to "double precision", CFX displayed following error message while exiting the computation: "Warning: formatted floating point data is only written to single precision data"

what does that mean, and what difference can I except to my displayed results?

Hi

It depends on the size of the problem which you Solve and the Memory your machine has while formatting the results.

Are you using cluster to run your Model

Hi

nope, no clustering and no very high memory computation. I got approx 150k cells running on my dual core cpu. the thing is, I just have a 32bit windows... this could be the problem actually.

Hi, i have the same problem. I'm using a cluster and i tried to increase my memory by using "-size 2". The error message still appears. Is this the right way to solve the problem and my memory still isnt large enough?

And what does it mean for the results? Are they solved with double precision and only saved in single precision?

Thanks a lot!
